You can get involved in several ways: come to monthly board meeting; become a member; join a committee or host one of our committee meetings; and/or submit a letter of interest about being part of the board. Please visit our Contact page for more information about monthly meetings.
Volunteer: We have several working committees that are always looking for additional help. If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about the Communications and Participation, Land Access, Governance, or Budget Committees, please click here and tell us more about how you want to help.
Become a Member: To become a member, we suggest a $25 per year donation (for institutional or business memberships, we suggest a higher donation as appropriate). Please donate here (or at our annual meetings) and sign up here for monthly updates we send to the full member list!
Apply to be a Board Member: We are always looking to elect new board members at our annual meetings in September (and we welcome people to join throughout the year). We are working to build the relationships what will enable us to be an organization that is truly community-driven, and where the majority of our leaders are not from the dominant white culture. Please go here for further information about board membership — or to express interest in mentoring any of our board or committee members, who we encourage to seek apprenticeship with local projects building land access.
Donate: TCALT is housed under the fiscal sponsorship of the City of Lakes Community Land Trust. You can donate directly to them, noting that the funding is for TCALT or you can donate online through our GiveMN page here.
